Faith Fundal

CBC British Columbia’s Faith Fundal is the host of CBC British Columbia’s original podcast, They & Us. Residing in Prince George, raised in Metro Vancouver and born in the Philippines, Fundal uses they/them/their pronouns and is well known for getting to the heart of stories that spark meaningful conversation.

Fundal is a British Columbia Institute of Technology graduate of the Broadcast and Media Communications Journalism program and an award winning News and Current Affairs multimedia journalist. Prior to joining CBC in 2008, they worked as a writer, radio reporter and news reader in Vancouver, Kamloops and Prince George.

The podcast They & Us was inspired by Fundal’s own journey exploring gender identity. In the podcast, Fundal shares the stories of people who have had to go beyond the binary — the "he" and "she" — to figure out who they truly are, and discovers more about themself in the process.

When Fundal’s not digging into a story, they sing the national anthem at WHL games, volunteer with the local soup kitchen and participate in community theatre productions in Prince George.
