Charlie Demers

Charlie Demers is a comedian, author, playwright and voice actor born and raised in Vancouver. He is a regular on CBC radio's The Debaters, and a star of the Emmy-winning children's animated Netflix program Beat Bugs, based on the immortal music of The Beatles. His recent comedy album Fatherland, from 604 Records, was nominated for a Juno, and his most recent novel, the crime satire Property Values, has been optioned for feature film development by Pioneer Pictures in Los Angeles. He is the host of Well Reds, a monthly socialist books podcast.
